Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Head – Outbound Holidays to lead and scale our outbound holiday sales business. The role involves complete ownership of sales strategy, email-based query management, team performance, quotation accuracy, destination knowledge, and revenue growth. The candidate must ensure high-quality client communication and maximum sales output from the team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound holiday sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Assign/distribute queries
  • Monitor query turnaround time, follow-ups, and closures to ensure maximum conversion and output.
  • Lead, mentor, and closely monitor the sales team’s daily activities and performance.
  • Ensure strong destination knowledge within the sales team through regular guidance and training.
  • Review and approve quotations prepared by the team for accuracy, pricing, margins, and content.
  • Check and monitor team email responses to ensure professional language, correctness, and brand alignment.
  • Handle key clients and escalated or high-value queries when required.
  • Coordinate with operations, vendors, and partners for smooth booking execution.
  • Track market trends, destination updates, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare sales MIS, performance reports, and insights for senior management.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15–20 years of experience in outbound holiday sales (travel industry mandatory).
  • Strong leadership experience managing sales teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of international destinations, travel documentation, and holiday packages.
  • Strong email communication, quotation handling, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to drive targets and deliver high sales productivity.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.


Preferred

  • Experience in B2B and B2C outbound holiday sales.
  • Strong vendor and DMC network.
  • Multilingual skills are an added advantage.
