Head of Production

Epsilon Staffing Solutions (A Division of Proxima) has a mandate from one of its key client, a rapidly growing and professionally managed manufacturing organization in the Electromechanical Components & Products industry to facilitate onboarding of a seasoned professional to Head the production for its manufacturing facility in Gurgaon.

The client is one of the well-established manufacturing players catering to reputed FMEG OEMs and industrial customers with strong expertise in - Sheet metal components, Precision engineering. Press shop operations, Riveting and assembly systems, Electromechanical products, High-volume manufacturing operations

Over the years, the organization has built strong capabilities in - Manufacturing excellence, Quality systems, Process-driven operations, Tool development and maintenance, Customer-centric delivery systems, Scalable production infrastructure

The client is currently in a significant growth phase and is strengthening its leadership team to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and manufacturing scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive end-to-end manufacturing operations for the plant
• Plan, organize, direct, and manage optimum day-to-day operations
• Improve production capacity, utilization, flexibility, and productivity
• Ensure achievement of production targets, product quality, and on-time delivery
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement
• Handle: Press Shop, Sheet Metal Tool Development, Die Maintenance, Riveting Shop, Product Assembly Line
• Monitor plant operations and initiate corrective actions proactively
• Drive cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and waste minimization
• Implement strong quality control and inspection practices
• Ensure effective production planning and target achievement
• Support teams in problem-solving to reduce scrap and rework
• Lead manufacturing activities for: Sheet metal component production, Product sub-assembly, Assembly operations, Mass production systems
• Develop systems, metrics, and performance standards to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturing best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve manufacturing systems and processes
• Review manpower performance and identify training needs

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 20–22 years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Strong background in: Electromechanical Components, Product Manufacturing, Sheet Metal Manufacturing, Press Shop Operations, Assembly Operations
• Proven leadership experience in managing large manufacturing teams
• Strong exposure to: Production Planning, Process Improvement, Quality Systems, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership capabilities
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Self-driven, highly organized, and execution-oriented professional
