Head of Product

Hiring for the role of " Head of Product – Small Business Banking" in a leading Bank .

Location-Kolkata

Grade -AVP/DVP

Job Purpose:

Lead product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for Small Business Banking products, driving portfolio growth, profitability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle (ideation to post-launch)
• Develop and enhance products based on market needs
• Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, and delinquency
• Ensure regulatory and internal compliance
• Support business & collections teams with product training and guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for product success

Experience & Skills:

• 12+ years in product management in Banking/Financial Services
• Strong knowledge of SME/Business Banking products
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the product lifecycle from concept to execution.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of P&L management and strategic product positioning.

Qualification:

• Master’s degree (MBA/Finance/Technology preferred)
