The Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Head of Photography / Videography to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on, hybrid role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment and is confident leading projects from concept through to final delivery.

You will play a key role in leading our room-set photography department, taking ownership of shoots from initial set design and build, through to capture and post-production.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and manage studio-based photography and videography projects

·       Plan, design, and oversee set builds for room-set shoots

·       Capture high-quality stills and video content in line with client briefs

·       Work closely with clients to interpret and deliver creative requirements

·       Manage full workflow from tethered shooting (Capture One) to final edits (Photoshop)

·       Collaborate with the wider team while maintaining strong independent working practices

About You

·       Minimum 6 years’ experience in a commercial studio environment

·       Highly skilled in both photography and videography

·       Strong understanding of studio lighting (flash and continuous/video lighting)

·       Confident working independently and leading projects

·       Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience

·       Proactive, creative, and solution-focused under pressure

·       Positive attitude and strong team player

Essential Skills

·       Studio lighting (flash & video)

·       Capture One

·       Adobe Photoshop

·       Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

·       Video editing skills (not essential but advantageous)

Additional Requirements

·       Willingness to travel across the UK for location shoots

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience

Circa £40,000+ per annum
