Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Human Resources based in Chennai. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and driving HR strategies to support organizational goals. Key responsibilities include leading recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Human Resources (HR) practices and principles, including recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Proficiency in HR Management and the implementation of HR strategies to support organizational objectives
  • Thorough knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and experience ensuring legal compliance
  • Experience in developing and applying HR Policies and guidelines
  • Strong skills in Employee Relations and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or healthcare industry is highly desirable
  • The candidate should have good knowledge of advanced excel
  • The candidate should be able to implement systems and policies in place
