Role Description The Head of Frontend is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for leading the frontend engineering function. This role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding architectural decisions, reviewing code, defining UI standards, and ensuring alignment with product and UX teams. The Head of Frontend will mentor and manage frontend engineers, plan and prioritize projects, collaborate with backend and DevOps teams, and drive best practices in performance, accessibility, and security. The role also involves working closely with leadership to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and deliver reliable, user-centric digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong Software Development skills in modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Proven Team Management and Team Leadership abilities, including mentoring engineers, building high-performing teams, and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Demonstrated Project Management experience, managing multiple initiatives, setting priorities, and delivering high-quality releases on schedule.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture for frontend systems, including scalable design patterns, modular component libraries, and integration with backend services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, web accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
