Head of Finance

Role: Finance Leader/Head of Finance

Location: Mumbai/Bangalore

We are working with a few growth-stage portfolio companies across sectors, looking to hire a Head of Finance who can build and lead the finance function while working closely with the founder and leadership team to drive scale.

About the Role

• Lead end-to-end finance including FP&A, controllership, compliance, and investor reporting
• Partner with founders on strategic decision-making, fundraising, and business planning
• Build strong financial systems, processes, and governance as the company scales
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Work closely with investors, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team over time

Who We’re Looking For

• 10–15 years of experience across finance, FP&A, controllership, or strategic finance
• Experience working in high-growth startups, VC-backed companies, or fast-scaling environments
• Strong understanding of fundraising, financial planning, and business partnering
• Ability to operate hands-on while thinking strategically
• CA / MBA or equivalent preferred
• Someone who enjoys building from scratch and scaling systems and teams
