About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Finance to lead the finance function for a luxury hospitality business based in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in luxury hotels, premium restaurants, or catering businesses. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy in MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management

Cost Control & Profitability

• Implement cost optimization strategies across departments
• Conduct profitability analysis for outlets, events, and business verticals
• Strengthen internal controls and financial discipline

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure statutory compliance including GST, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions
• Establish strong internal audit and risk management frameworks

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team
• Develop SOPs and streamline financial processes
• Collaborate closely with operations and business heads

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, or catering businesses
• Strong understanding of hospitality financial structures and cost dynamics
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
