Head of Events

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head – Events to lead the planning, execution, and management of events across India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale event management, vendor coordination, logistics, budgeting, and team leadership.

The role requires a strategic leader who can deliver seamless events while ensuring operational excellence, effective stakeholder coordination, and a memorable participant experience.

• Develop and execute the organization's annual event strategy and calendar.
• Plan and oversee conferences, conventions, outreach programs, meetings, and special events across multiple locations.
• Lead end-to-end event planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Manage event budgets, cost optimization, procurement, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments and regional teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and service providers.
• Oversee event logistics, travel arrangements, accommodation, transportation, registration, and on-site operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Build, mentor, and lead the Events team to achieve operational excellence.
• Prepare event reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 12–18 years of experience in event management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-location events.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and project management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
