Job Description: Head of Engineering / Technical Manager

Role: Head of Engineering

Location: Jakarta

Reporting to: COO

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Hands-on Development (60%)

• Take full ownership of the existing codebase, driving day-to-day development, feature releases, and technical debt reduction.Write, review, and deploy clean, scalable, and maintainable code primarily using C# and .NET Co
• re.Architect, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure entirely within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Ensure high availability, robust security practices, and scalable database management using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure data services
• Design and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices (if applicable) to support frontend applications and third-party integration

Team Management & Delivery

• (40%)Lead, mentor, and scale a lean, high-performing engineering
• team.Run daily Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) to maintain delivery momentum and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes via Azure DevOps, and release schedules.
• Act as the primary technical bridge between the engineering team and the executive leadership, communicating timelines, risks, and technical strategy clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage external vendor relationships, software licenses, and cloud billing optimization

Required Technical Stack & Experience

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a senior, lead, or architectural
• capacity.Microsoft Ecosystem Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise with C# and .NET Core /
• ASP.NET.Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience provisioning and managing infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure AD).
• Database Management: Strong proficiency in relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, query optimization, and Entity Framework.
• DevOps & Tooling: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Azure DevOps, GitHubActions).
• Frontend Knowledge: Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) to effectively manage full-stack feature delivery
