YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the growth of the electronics department in line with the company's objectives.
  • Direct and oversee the design, manufacture, installation and testing of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all electronics work adheres to specified regulations and standards.
  • Lead the electronics team, including management of staff, scheduling, professional development and workflow.
  • Manage the budget, timelines, and resources for electronics projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and marketing, to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.
  • Evaluate and approve vendors, and negotiate contracts for the procurement of materials and services.
  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement them as appropriate.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to solve complex problems and technical challenges.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving electronic issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
  • Lead research and development efforts to improve existing products or processes or to pioneer new ones.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure robust quality control of all electronics products.


Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar field is required. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electronics engineering, including managerial or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic systems and the latest electronics trends and technologies.
  • Experience managing and leading a diverse team of engineers and technicians.
  • Proficient in using various electronics tools, software, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Certifications in Professional Engineering (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
  • Must have a strategic mindset with the capability to think and plan for the long-term success of the department.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety procedures, and quality control methodologies.
