Head of E/E

Your responsibilities

• Mentor and monitor E/E system application department ensuring that every team can successfully achieve their project goals.
• Leads E/E development as well as implements the medium- and long-term E/E strategy in close cooperation with central R&A development.
• Overarching lead for E/E system development including supporting departments in a Matrix organization (BQEEI), SCM, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Industrialization, form concept phase to EOL for steering gear.
• Continuous market surveillance and monitoring for customer roadmaps, technological trends in design and product manufacturing processes, ensuring medium and long-term competitiveness.
• Escalation path for all E/E topics within the product line Steering Gear.
• Definition of E/E strategy in cooperation with Sales, Procurement and Central R&A.
  
  
  

Your profile

• University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering with E/E experience.
• Professional experience with E/E systems safety-relevant mechatronic systems in the automotive industry.
• At least 10 years of professional experience including disciplinary and functional leadership.
• Understanding of complex, safety-relevant mechatronic systems.
• Very good English skills (German is a plus).
• Independent and responsible work style.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as resilience and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%).
