About Us: Reliance Battery Business at Reliance Industries Limited, as part of our New Energy - Battery business, we are building a best-in-class, world-scale, India-first Battery Ecosystem, with a vision to establish 100 GWh of advanced battery manufacturing capacity spanning cell manufacturing, energy storage, and battery material development.
Role Purpose
The Industrial Relations (IR) Head acts as a bridge between management and the workforce including employees, supervisors, and third-party employees to ensure stable, fair, and legally compliant labour practices, foster good employee relations, and support smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate and implement IR & HR policies for the plant
Develop and implement IR and HR policies and procedures in line with the Organization's
strategy and legal requirements.
Handle grievances, disputes, disciplinary actions investigate issues, mediate, and ensure fair
resolution in compliance with company policy and labor law.
Promote positive workplace culture, employee engagement, retention initiatives, and healthy
employeremployee relations to minimize conflicts and disruptions.
Maintain records of industrial relations activities (negotiations, grievances, disciplinary actions,
union meetings, agreements), and prepare reports/analytics for management.
Industrial Relations, Labour & Compliance
Oversee industrial relations, union contracts, wage negotiations, dispute resolution, and
management of grievances.
Ensure complete statutory compliance under labour, employment laws, health & safety, POSH,
contract labour, environment etc.
