Head - Facility Services ( Hospital Industry )

Manager Facilities in a hospital ensures the building, equipment (medical & non-medical), and grounds are safe, functional, and compliant, managing budgets, staff, maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), safety protocols (fire, hazardous waste), vendor contracts, and strategic planning for upgrades to support patient care and hospital operations, all while adhering to strict healthcare regulations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operations & Maintenance:
• Oversee daily upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance for all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Manage acquisition, installation, and upkeep of furniture and equipment.
• Supervise cleaning, landscaping, and waste disposal.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal health/safety codes (OSHA, EPA, CDC) and healthcare regulations.
• Implement fire safety, emergency preparedness, and hazardous waste management programs.
• Manage security systems and protocols.
• Financial Management:
• Develop and manage facility budgets, controlling costs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Strategic Planning & Projects:
• Plan for future facility needs, renovations, and expansions.
• Support the hospital's strategic goals through efficient resource utilization.
• Team & Vendor Management:
• Lead and develop the facilities team (recruitment, training, performance).
• Oversee external contractors for specialized work.
• Space & Resource Management:
• Optimize space utilization within the facility.
• Ensure efficient use of transport, canteen, and other support services.

The primary goal is to create a safe, efficient, and healing environment that supports clinical staff and provides optimal patient experience, all while minimizing operational disruptions and costs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
