Greetings from HCL Tech We are looking for Java Developer and full stack for one of our Preferred candidate profile Experience: 6-12 Y Work Location: Chennai, Bangalore Notice: upto 30 Days Primary Skill: Java, Spring boot, Microservice, Reactjs Secondary: C++ Key Responsibilities Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot following established architectural patterns Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React and modern JavaScript Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with SOAP-based legacy services Develop Node.js/Express applications for backend-for-frontend or API layers Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Implement comprehensive unit tests using JUnit and frontend testing frameworks Work with Oracle databases: write SQL queries, optimize performance, and implement data access layers Migrate C++ modules to Java/React components under guidance from technical leads Debug and fix defects in development and production environments Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback Quality & DevOps Ensure code quality using SonarQube and address code quality issues Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code coverage Use Docker to containerize applications Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements Follow coding standards and best practices Implement logging and error handling Participate in performance optimization efforts Collaboration Work closely with technical leads and architects to understand requirements Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) Collaborate with QA team to ensure thorough testing Estimate effort for assigned tasks Communicate progress, challenges, and blockers Contribute to technical documentation Required Technical Skills Backend Development (Java) Java & Spring Boot: Experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot framework Spring Ecosystem: Working knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security Web Services: Experience building REST APIs and understanding of consuming SOAP web services Oracle Database: 1-2 years working with Oracle, writing SQL queries, and basic PL/SQL Testing: Solid experience with JUnit and writing unit tests Frontend Development (React & Node) React: 1-2 years of experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Node.js: Experience with Node.js and Express framework Frontend Fundamentals: Strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design skills JavaScript: Proficiency in modern JavaScript, async programming, and ES6+ features State Management: Familiarity with React hooks, props, and state management Tools & Practices Code Quality: Experience using SonarQube or similar code analysis tools Version Control: Proficient with Git (branching, merging, pull requests) DevOps & Infrastructure Containerization: Basic hands-on experience with Docker CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Linux/Unix: Basic command-line skills Performance: Understanding of basic performance optimization techniques
