AjnaLens is looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer (HVE) to join our Hardware Engineering Team at Thane (Maharashtra ? India) . We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with 4?6 years of experience in hardware validation, functional testing, electrical testing, hardware?firmware interface evaluation, and end-to-end execution of validation plans. Read more here: LinkedIn Post Top 3 Daily Tasks: Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans for new hardware modules, subsystems, and full device assemblies. Perform functional, electrical, and interface-level testing , ensuring accurate hardware behaviour under diverse operating conditions. Validate firmware-driven features , collaborating closely with the firmware team to test functionality, stability, and system-level integration. Minimum Work Experience Required: 4?6 years of hands-on experience in hardware validation, testing, embedded systems, or electronics product qualification?preferably in consumer electronics, wearables, AR/VR devices, or embedded hardware environments. Top 5 Skills You Should Possess: Strong experience in functional and electrical testing of embedded systems and hardware modules. Proficiency in creating validation plans, test cases, and test reports . Hands-on expertise with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power analyzers, and protocol analyzers . Solid understanding of hardware?firmware interfaces , communication protocols, and system-level interactions. Ability to analyze failures, perform root cause investigation, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Full-Stack Awareness: You should have working familiarity with: Board-level debugging and signal tracing Communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, BLE, etc.) Power and thermal behaviour analysis Environmental, reliability, and stress testing Test automation frameworks (preferred but not mandatory) Bonus Points For: Experience in wearable device validation , sensor testing, or AR/VR hardware evaluation Familiarity with compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety, reliability) Exposure to automated test setups and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, etc.) Understanding of product qualification cycles and mass-production validation processes What You?ll Be Creating: You will ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of AjnaLens' future smart glasses and immersive hardware platforms.
