Job Description

Position Title - Lead Engineer

Function HW Engineer – Analog, Digital and Power Electronics

Education B.E/B Tech/M Tech Electronics Engineering / Power electronics

Experience- 8-14 years of experience


Competency Required

More than 8 years of experience in Automotive Electronics.

  • Responsible for understanding customer requirements/ design requirements.
  • Expertise in Analog and Digital Circuit design - experience with OpAmps, Filters, Signal conditioning circuits, mixed signal design
  • Hands on experience with 16/32-bit microcontrollers selection, design and validation.
  • Power supply design for Buck, Boost, LDO topology
  • Hardware design experience with MOSFETs, transistors, High Side Drivers, Low Side Drivers, eFuse etc.
  • Experience in designing with communication protocol – CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc.
  • Technical Design Reviews: Hardware, PCB, Cross-functional
  • Design for EMI/EMC and certification experience including troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues.
  • Experience in Automotive product lifecycle.


Profile Description / Knowledge required

  • Experience in DFMEA
  • Experience in hardware Functional Safety work products – HSR, FMEDA, FTA, DFA etc.
  • Experience in working for Hardware Software Interface design
  • Design, component selection, prototyping, validation, production and troubleshooting.
  • Needs through and in-depth understanding of PCB layout, EMI/ EMC, Grounding and Shielding.
  • Writing and reviewing hardware requirement specifications
  • Schematic design experience, preferably with Mentor Graphics Dx-Designer and Expedition.
  • Experience in analog circuit simulation using PSpice / LT Spice, experience in Worst Case Analysis of circuits using Mathcad
  • Experience with electronic test equipment including DMM, DSO, and function generator, programmable HV Power supply, spectrum analyzer, EMI receiver etc.
  • Must be able to debug electronic circuits and determine root cause of failures
  • Experience in power dissipation calculations and thermal considerations in hardware design
  • Familiar with standards like ISO-16750, ISO7637, ISO11452
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORs)
  • Work closely with internal teams to support FMEDA and FTA reviews and to define technical hardware solutions to decrease the risk of safety failures.
  • Develop verification test plan and support for preparing validation test plan
  • Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and global team members.
  • Well organized, have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • An excellent team player, Flexible attitude and willing to travel.
