Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Guidewire Rating Developer (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter). Strong understanding of Guidewire Rating Engine , Rate Books , Rate Tables , and Rating Worksheets . Proficiency in GOSU programming , Guidewire Configuration , and Integration concepts. Solid foundation in OOPs principles , design patterns, and reusable component development. Knowledge of Insurance domain workflows ? rating, underwriting, policies, and product modeling. Hands-on experience in XML, JSON, SOAP/REST APIs , and Java for integration activities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Good-to-Have Skills: Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) and related cloud deployment models. Familiarity with DevOps tools ? Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , API orchestration , and data migration . Guidewire Certification ? Rating Developer / Configuration Specialist / PolicyCenter Developer preferred. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with focus on performance tuning.
