Responsibilities Following are the day-to-day work activities: Develop and configure Guidewire applications like PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Enterprise Engage, Jutro Digital platform Integrate Guidewire applications with other systems using APIs and web services. Write code using languages such as Java, GOSU, and SQL. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of the developed solutions. Provide support for QA and production environments. Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions Remain current on new technologies, evaluate, and make recommendations as necessary. Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management Write, modify, and debug software for client applications Requirements The must have requirements are: 3-10 years of hands-on implementation experience on Guidewire InsuranceSuite Experience in the configuration of Guidewire products such as PolicyCenter/ BillingCenter/ ClaimCenter/ EnterpriseEngage/ Jutro Framework Experience in Gosu Queries, working on PCF, Rulesets, Validations Experience in property and casualty insurance on commercial and personal line of business Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and version control systems like SVN. Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills Good To Have Skills Candidates with these extra skills on their resumes have an added advantage while getting their profile assessed. Some of them are as follows: Good to have Guidewire certification and update to the latest version.
