About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Growth & Marketing Manager to assist Azar’s marketing efforts for the Turkey & Middle East region, while being based out of India. This role will drive user acquisition, engagement, and brand narrative for a Gen Z–centric audience across key GCC markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across global offices, while building a deep understanding of regional culture and user behavior.

Key Responsibilities


1. Performance & Growth Marketing (Primary Focus)

● Own and optimize paid acquisition, media execution, and performance marketing across Turkey & Middle Eastern markets.

● Work with agency partners and internal teams to deliver ROI-positive growth campaigns.

● Manage full-funnel metrics, acquisition, retention, reactivation, and campaign efficiency.

● Develop hypotheses, run experiments, and make data-backed decisions to scale growth.


2. Brand & Narrative Building

● Support brand positioning for Azar in the Middle East by contributing cultural insights and helping shape the narrative.

● Partner with creators, influencers, and local cultural voices to drive Gen Z resonance.

● Assist in developing content, campaigns, and messaging tailored to regional sensitivities

and user trends.


3. Market Intelligence & Cultural Insight

● Build a strong understanding of Middle Eastern and/or Turkish culture, trends, platforms, and youth behavior.

● Stay ahead of shifts in Gen Z preferences, media platforms, dating culture, and digital habits.

● Provide cultural guidance to global stakeholders to ensure Azar is relevant and locally

meaningful.


4. Analytics & Data Fluency

● Consistently track, analyze, and report performance across campaigns.

● Proactively identify growth opportunities through data.

● Work deeply with dashboards, Excel/Sheets, analytics tools, and internal BI.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Work closely with product, design, analytics, central marketing, and local market teams.

● Serve as the operational point person for the Middle East region from India.

● Drive clear communication and project management across time zones.


Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, growth
  • Strong understanding of Gen Z media behavior and creator/influencer ecosystems
  • Demonstrable experience in data-driven decision making and experimentation
  • Proven ability to run growth campaigns across paid social, UAC, display, or programmatic platforms
  • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and building from 0→1
  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
