About the role

V-Guard is hiring 2026 Engineering graduates (currently pursuing their final year) to join us as Graduate Engineer Trainee under VLEAP (V-Guard Leadership Acceleration Program). This program moulds you through rigorous stints & training across our various Core Technical and Techno-managerial functions. Here, you learn directly from the seasoned leaders of V-Guard. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, continuously developing your technical, managerial and leadership skills in the process.

We are hiring for our Manufacturing Excellence Department, where you will work on :-

• Enhancing and optimizing operational systems by identifying, implementing, and sustaining process‑driven improvements.
• Continuous improvement of efficiency KPIs in the manufacturing sites.
• Implementation of lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput and operational excellence.
• Defining standard operating procedures (SOP) for sustainable results.
• Supporting the plant teams in benchmarking, solutions, problem-solving and continuous improvement programs
• Support the Operation in the design, development and implementation of policy deployment within the business. Cascading KPIs and KRAs at all business levels.
• Identify and deliver projects to increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce waste & cost. Support the implementation of the visual factory standards. Lead and support the deployment of the value stream mapping process and principles.
• Support the deployment and development of Error proofing principles and techniques.
• Lead the implementation of the structured approach to problem-solving (DMAIC, 5Why’s, Cause & Effect diagrams, availability reduction techniques) as well as tracking and reporting processes.
• Drive the transformation to an operationally excellent culture.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Undertake continuous training and development.
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
• Ensure relevant ongoing learning and development of all employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
• Coach and facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/EEE/ECE/ or related fields.
• Good understanding of industrial standards and risk management practices.
• Possess basic commercial knowledge, project management skills, effective communication coaching and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage projects / project planning exposure.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Open for extensive travel.
