Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee – SOLIDWORKS

Job Overview

BEACON is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) passionate about SOLIDWORKS and engineering solutions. This role provides structured training and hands-on exposure to technical support, customer training, and pre-sales activities in a VAR environment.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and work on SOLIDWORKS CAD (Part, Assembly, Drawings)
Assist in software demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and presentations
Support customers with basic technical queries and troubleshooting
Participate in customer training sessions, workshops, and webinars
Create and update sample models and industry-specific use cases
Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices
Coordinate with sales and technical teams to support customer requirements

Required Skills

Basic understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
Exposure to SOLIDWORKS (academic or project-based)
Knowledge of manufacturing concepts
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong learning attitude and customer-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

Exposure to SOLIDWORKS Simulation / Flow Simulation / Electrical
Awareness of PDM/PLM concepts
Internship or academic project experience in CAD/CAE
