Job Title: Sales Manager - Govt Sales
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering: MBA preferred

About the Role: We are hiring a true hunter to drive a new logo acquisition for our Agentic AI Intelligence Repository in the Ministry of Defense and related various departments in selling Enterprise Software / DMS, BPM, ERP (SAP/Oracle/Ramco), or AI/ML enterprise products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition for the Agentic AI Intelligence Repository in the Ministry of Defense and related departments by selling Enterprise Software / DMS, BPM, ERP (SAP/Oracle/Ramco), or AI/ML enterprise products.
- Build pipeline from scratch through aggressive outbound — cold outreach, partner-led entry, and mapping at top level.
- Lead end-to-end sales from lead generation till closure with Pre-sales and other stakeholders.
- Lead RFP/RFI/EOI/GeM responses end-to-end with Pre-sales and other stakeholders.
- Build relationships with decision-making units and influence RFP scope before tenders are released.
- Manage strategic Government and Defence accounts and drive business growth across assigned accounts
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable hunting track record (you must be able to name specific accounts you personally opened from zero).
- Should have an existing relationship with decision-making units — Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Director, Director General, IT Head, Procurement Heads — and influence RFP scope before tenders drop.
- Should have closed multiple Government deals of ₹1 Cr+ during the last one year.
- Hands-on knowledge of GeM, CPPP, e-procurement, EMD/PBG, GFR norms, and government commercial terms.
- Should have worked with at least 10–15 accounts at a senior position, including Ministry of Defence, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation, Indian Coast Guard, Border Roads Organisation, Defence Estates Organisation, NCC, Armed Forces Tribunal, ARDE, ADRDE, ADE, etc.
- You should be a self-starter who generates own pipeline, is comfortable with cold outreach and extensive travel, and demonstrates high integrity with a strong understanding of compliance.
