Government Relations

Responsibilities:

1.Monitor EU and Hungary’s political, economic & industry policies, and analyze their impact on business.

2.Provide professional translation (written) and interpretation (oral) support for internal & external business activities.

3.Handle government-related emergencies to protect the company’s local reputation; bridge Chinese-Hungarian team communication; abide by confidentiality agreements for company secrets.

4.Participate in local industry organization activities to integrate the company into the local ecosystem and enhance influence.

5.Collect & translate industry terms; build, maintain and update the Chinese-Hungarian bilingual term library & translation memory; archive translation materials.

Requirements:

1.Master's degree or above, major in Translation, Journalism, International Relations, International Law or related fields.

2.At least 3 year of work experience in public relations, media or professional translation is preferred; candidates with experience working in Chinese companies or multinational enterprises will be given priority.

3..Proficient in communicating with government officials and business representatives from different cultural backgrounds.

4..Familiar with the business logic of the company's industry, understand government operation mechanisms and policy-making processes; prior knowledge of

6.Excellent cross-cultural understanding, with a keen insight into cultural differences between China and Hungary.

7.Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details, with high self-requirements for the accuracy of translation and communication content.

8.Good resilience and adaptability, able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks and emergencies effectively.

9.Team spirit, able to work closely with the headquarters team and local team.

10.Proficient in both Hungarian and English, both of which can be used as working languages.
