Job description: Work Model:?Office (On-Site) Experience Window:?4 to 6 years Location:?Vadodara As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, deploying, and optimizing our hybrid infrastructure ? spanning on-prem Linux servers and GCP cloud environments. You will design scalable architectures, implement DevOps practices, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate closely with development and operations teams. Experience with AWS, DevOps tools, and Google PCA certification will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: ? Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). ? Manage and maintain on-prem Linux servers including system updates, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. ? Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions). ? Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. ? Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring), or ELK Stack. ? Manage networking, firewall rules, load balancers, and VPN connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments. ? Ensure security, compliance, and identity management across infrastructure using IAM policies and least-privilege principles. ? Optimize performance and costs for compute, storage, and network resources. ? Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE or EKS). ? Provide technical documentation, disaster recovery strategies, and contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications ? 4?6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud or Systems Engineer. ? Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ? Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Monitoring. ? Strong proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) administration ? shell scripting, performance tuning, package management, and system hardening. ? Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform). ? Experience managing hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructure. ? Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. ? Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, routing, firewalls, load balancing). ? Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and on-prem environments. ? Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
