Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 base (Some flexibility)

Role Context

This is a hands-on Google Cloud Architect role positioned at the intersection of cloud engineering, AI-enabled customer experience, and large-scale transformation delivery. The role sits within a major consulting environment and is focused on designing and implementing next-generation customer engagement solutions using Google Cloud, Gemini-powered capabilities, and cloud-native engineering patterns.

The remit is broader than traditional architecture. This individual will operate as a working architect, translating high-level design into production-ready implementation across customer engagement, conversational AI, integration, and platform components. It is a delivery-focused role with clear technical depth, where credibility comes from being able to shape architecture and contribute directly to build activity.

The programme environment is fast-moving and commercially important, with a strong emphasis on automation outcomes, customer experience improvement, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work across architecture, engineering, and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically robust and aligned to real-world service environments.

This role will suit someone operating at Consultant or Manager level who wants visible impact, modern Google Cloud exposure, and the opportunity to influence how AI and human-agent collaboration is delivered at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Google Cloud solutions supporting AI-enabled customer engagement and contact centre transformation
• Build and configure cloud-native components across conversational AI, integration, analytics, and automation workflows
• Translate architecture into scalable technical designs and guide engineering teams through delivery
• Integrate Google platform capabilities with enterprise contact centre and CRM environments
• Ensure solutions align with operational workflows, customer experience objectives, and delivery quality standards

Candidate Profile / Technical Skillset

• Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on Google Cloud Platform in enterprise environments
• Experience building conversational AI, customer engagement, or contact centre technology solutions
• Good knowledge of services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and API-led integration
• Ability to bridge architecture and engineering, with strong implementation judgement in fast-paced programmes
• Exposure to Dialogflow CX, Gemini, Contact Center AI, or adjacent customer automation tooling is highly valuable
