Job Summary

NetApp Console is a robust platform delivering unified experience for storage and data services across on-premises and cloud environments. It enables operational simplicity through the power of AIOps, with the flexible consumption parameters and integrated protection required for today’s cloud-led world.


As a Software Engineer in this group, you will be part of a team actively participating in product development and strategy execution. In addition, you will participate in activities that include testing and debugging operating systems that run NetApp storage applications. As part of the Research and Development function, the overall focus of the group is on competitive market and customer requirements, supportability, technology advancements, product quality, product cost and time-to-market. Software engineers focus on enhancements to existing products as well as new product development.


This position requires you to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, self-motivated to produce results and demonstrates the ability to take a cross-team leadership role.

Job Requirements

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver microservices and web applications.
  • Build services using GoLang, NodeJS, MongoDB, and work with GraphQL.
  • Develop responsive UIs, common components, and libraries using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and containerization.
  • Participate and lead technical discussions across teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Follow standard engineering practices and maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and web accessibility is a plus.

Education

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a Master Degree; or equivalent experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks
