JOB PURPOSE:

Incumbent will be responsible to drive the different projects of Design & Developments as per the customer RFQs and business requirements. Have ability to adhere stringent timelines of customers without any compromise in quality of delivery, right costing and defined processes.

Program Management

Core knowledge of APQP process and toll gate mechanism
Working experience of software of project management
Ensure the customer milestones management
Basic knowledge of the lighting/ plastic products
Core program management experience minimum 8 years
Technical RFQ handling experience with automotive OEM’s like MSIL/ TML/ Mahindra etc.
Development experience with automotive OEM’s like MSIL/ TML/ Mahindra etc.
Knowledge of automotive industry standards (AIS, ECE) and safety guidelines
Experience in prototyping
Conduct DFMEA and DVP reviews and prepare documents for sign off
Experience in New product development process
Customer handling
Basic knowledge of Electronics standards for integration in Lamp
Basic knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA desired
Verify & validate the functionality of mechanical design for lighting product.
Knowledge about Concept Drg. Customer Drg. etc.
Study the Product Drawing for manufacturing Feasibility of the New Products as per the customer RFQs.
Knowledge of Plastics Material & their selection criteria
Basic plastic Tooling knowledge
To Prepare/Submit & maintain PPAP Document in line with System/Customer Requirement
Prepare detailed project Management plan with clarity of each individual defined roles and milestones as aligned with customer required timeline
Customer Milestone meeting as per timeline and communicate the customer requirements to different stakeholders to meet the customer timeline
To maintain all Master Record of APQP/PPAP Document with all Approval Record.
Maintain the ECN Document & Smoothly Implementation in mass production as per Timeline
To monitor and control product development lots (DP, PP, MPT, Pilot & initial supply control)
Keep provision for revision for time lines because of unforeseen circumstances and keep customer informed if any deviation from customer mile stone is observed
Identify and highlight issues, critical to project activities going beyond defined time line and take support and appropriate action
Motivate, monitor and manage team based on Company Core Values & Purposes in a high Growth environment
Close monitoring of team performance and pro-actively design to enhance their productivity through Training & development
