Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Executive / Sr. Executive – GDS / NDC Operations to support the FIT Online Support Team across all shifts. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Amadeus, Galileo GDS, and NDC, along with hands-on experience in ticket issuance, reissuance, fare rules, cancellations, and refunds for both domestic and international travel bookings. The role requires excellent customer service, team coordination, and process adherence to ensure seamless travel operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the FIT Online Support Team across all shifts.
  • Handle and guide team members in ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and fare rule validations through Amadeus, Galileo GDS, and NDC.
  • Ensure accurate processing of domestic and international travel bookings in accordance with airline policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Monitor service quality, queue management, and turnaround time to meet defined service levels.
  • Resolve booking and ticketing-related queries and escalations in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, airlines, and suppliers to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Maintain accuracy in ticketing transactions and ensure compliance with airline fare rules and travel policies.
  • Support process improvements and contribute to achieving operational excellence.


Experience

  • 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in GDS/NDC travel operations.
  • Strong experience in ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and fare rule interpretation.
  • Experience in domestic and international travel operations is preferred.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Amadeus and Galileo GDS.
  • Working knowledge of NDC booking and servicing.
  • Strong understanding of airline fare rules, ticketing procedures, and travel operations.
  • Experience working with online travel platforms or travel management companies will be an advantage.

Shift Requirement

  • Willingness to work flexible rotational shifts, including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays, based on business requirements.


Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism or a related field will be an added advantage.
