Global Controller

The Global Controller will oversee all global accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, compliance, and internal controls functions across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will lead a high-performing accounting team while driving process improvement, standardization, and operational scalability across multiple international business units.

This role requires a strong manufacturing background, leadership experience in complex global environments, and the ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day accounting operations.

• Lead all global accounting operations including general ledger, consolidations, month-end close, financial reporting, and technical accounting
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage global consolidations across multiple domestic and international entities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, audit, and internal control requirements
• Partner closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, process optimization, and reporting efficiency
• Lead and develop accounting teams across multiple regions and business units
• Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, and external advisors
• Support M&A activity including due diligence, integration, and financial reporting alignment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, supply chain, and plant leadership teams
• Maintain and enhance ERP systems, accounting policies, and internal control environments
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and operational KPIs

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Prior experience within large-scale manufacturing environments required
• Experience leading accounting functions for organizations with $500M+ in revenue preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Experience with global operations and multi-entity accounting structures
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• ERP system experience required; SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

• Public accounting foundation (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred)
• Experience supporting private equity-backed or publicly traded organizations
• Exposure to international accounting operations and foreign currency consolidations
• Manufacturing industry expertise including cost accounting, inventory controls, and plant operations finance
