Deutsch Activ German Training Institute, founded in 1992, is dedicated to fostering a love for learning the German language and culture. Over the past 30 years, the institute has trained more than 15,000 students and professionals in German language skills and cultural orientation. Through its Deutsch Activ Culture Club (DACC), it collaborates with schools, colleges, and universities to host workshops, seminars, webinars, competitions, and inter-cultural training programs. The institute also organizes annual inter-school and inter-college events with participation from students nationwide. Since 2004, DACC has provided students with opportunities for intercultural tours to Germany and Europe, promoting a deeper understanding of German culture.


Role Description

This is a project-based, on-site German Teacher role located in the Sangli area. The German Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons to students across various proficiency levels, focusing on language skills and cultural immersion. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and conducting interactive sessions to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The teacher will occasionally participate in workshops, seminars, and inter-cultural activities organized by the institute's cultural wing.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in German Teaching, with a passion for language instruction and cultural exchange
  • Experience in Teaching, Tutoring, and preparing lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
  • Skills in Education and Training, with the ability to use innovative and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in German and English
  • Certification in German language teaching (e.g., Goethe-Institut certification or equivalent) is highly preferred
  • Experience organizing or participating in cultural exchange programs is an advantage

MA in German or minimum C1 level certification

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and student-focused approach
