German Language Trainer

Guru Nanak College, Dehradun is seeking a passionate and qualified German Language Trainer to deliver high-quality German language instruction to students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting engaging and interactive classroom sessions, implementing structured lesson plans, and developing students' proficiency in German across CEFR levels B1, B2, C1, and C2.

• Deliver engaging and effective German language classes aligned with CEFR standards (B1, B2, C1, and C2).
• Prepare and implement structured lesson plans covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Conduct interactive classroom activities to enhance communication and language fluency.
• Assess students through regular assignments, quizzes, presentations, and examinations.
• Monitor student progress, maintain attendance and performance records, and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and offer additional academic support where required.
• Encourage students to develop confidence in spoken and written German.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and German language curriculum standards.
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure timely completion of the course curriculum and achievement of learning outcomes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in German Language, German Studies, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
• Certification or demonstrated proficiency in German up to C1/C2 level (Goethe, TELC, TestDaF, or equivalent preferred).
• Prior experience in teaching German language courses is preferred.
• Strong command of German grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
• Excellent classroom management, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching tools is an added advantage.
