Generative AI Engineer (1?2 Years Experience)

Job Description

About the Role Our client is seeking a Generative AI Engineer with 1?2 years of hands-on experience to help build real-world AI applications, copilots, automation systems, and LLM-powered solutions. You will work directly with client teams while being part of the elite talent network of YMinds.AI. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy Generative AI/LLM applications using leading models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, etc.). Build and optimize RAG pipelines , embeddings, and vector search systems. Create conversational AI tools such as chatbots, copilots, content generators, and workflow automation modules. Integrate AI models with backend services using Python or Node.js. Apply fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and parameter-efficient training (LoRA, QLoRA). Implement model evaluation frameworks to reduce hallucinations and improve performance. Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams. Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI frameworks, tools, and best practices. Required Skills 1?2 years hands-on experience in Generative AI or LLM development . Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, data manipulation libraries). Experience with OpenAI APIs , HuggingFace , LangChain , or similar frameworks. Working knowledge of vector databases : Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, ChromaDB, Qdrant. Understanding of transformers, embeddings, and model orchestration . Familiarity with Git, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and API development. Preferred Skills Familiarity with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI . Exposure to multimodal AI (text, image, audio). Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps basics. Awareness of AI ethics, privacy, and data security considerations. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. High ownership, curiosity, and a mindset geared toward experimentation and rapid prototyping. Comfortable working in fast-paced, innovative environments.
