POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced and proactive General Manager – HR to lead critical HR functions supporting our global workforce from our India hub. This role will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing HR operational excellence, competitive and compliant compensation practices, and robust performance management frameworks across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global compensation and benefits strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and market trends.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of competitive pay structures, incentive plans, and benefit programs across diverse geographies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with global HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to deliver integrated total rewards solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, including global consulting firms to leverage market insights and benchmarking data.
- Drive compensation governance and oversight, including salary reviews, bonus administration, equity plans, and executive remuneration.
- Analyze market data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing compensation and benefits team.
- Champion communication strategies to educate and engage employees about total rewards offerings.
- Support M&A activities, workforce planning, and organizational design with compensation expertise.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years in a global HR operations or total rewards leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing HR functions across multiple countries/regions from a shared services or global delivery model.
- In-depth knowledge of global compensation practices, benefits laws, and performance management systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with global HRIS tools.
- Excellent communication, cross-cultural collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
