Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Cloud Architecture
• Develop and implement a comprehensive ERP roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic growth initiatives, including new market entries and operational expansions
• Evaluate and direct the cloud hosting strategy, leveraging your expertise in the distinctions, total cost of ownership (TCO), and security aspects of various ERP cloud models
• Ensure the system architecture is robust and scalable, minimizing technical debt and avoiding unnecessary customizations to facilitate seamless future upgrades
• Commercial Assessment & Vendor Negotiation
• Lead the analysis and refinement of our ERP licensing model, ensuring optimal resource utilization and maximizing the return on software investments
• Engage directly in negotiations for contracts, pricing, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with ERP vendors and external service providers
• Review and authorize vendor Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring that external resource expenditures align with project budgets and deliverables
• Project Delivery & Release Management
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of ERP enhancements and integration projects across key functional areas.
• Coordinate release schedules to ensure that system updates, patches, or migrations do not disrupt business operations or critical delivery timelines
• Act as the final escalation point for complex support issues or vendor-related delivery challenges
• Internal Alignment & Governance
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and functional leaders to translate business challenges into effective ERP solutions
• Maintain stringent governance over system changes, ensuring adherence to internal policies and industry standards

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in ERP delivery, architecture, or functional leadership
• Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in manufacturing or related sectors, with a strong understanding of operational dynamics and integration challenges
• Commercial Acumen: Proven history of managing substantial IT budgets, auditing software usage, and negotiating complex contracts with global vendors
• Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of modern ERP deployment models, particularly the technical and commercial distinctions among various cloud environments
• Leadership: Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to navigate challenging discussions with both vendors and internal teams effectively
