Opening: Senior Manager – Record-to-Report (RTR)

Job Location - Gurugram and Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and end-to-end accountability for RTR service delivery across global engagements, ensuring quality, compliance, timely execution, and business value.
  • Lead and mentor large RTR teams specializing in Asset Accounting, overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Drive governance, service delivery metrics, and performance reviews to improve operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives using ERP platforms, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, SQL automation, BlackLine, and Generative AI to enhance automation, controls, and scalability.
  • Champion continuous improvement by standardizing processes, embedding best practices, and driving innovation across RTR operations.
  • Develop high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with FERC regulations, US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements while proactively managing financial and operational risks.
  • Partner with client leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to manage governance, resolve escalations, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights that support executive decision-making and long-term value creation.

What We're Looking For Leadership & Functional Expertise

  • Proven experience leading large, global RTR operations and transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in Record-to-Report processes, particularly Asset Accounting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization, change management, and operational excellence.
  • Strong people leadership with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing diverse teams.
  • Ability to thrive in global, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.

Technical Skills

  • Good working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Experience in automation initiatives and process improvements.
  • Exposure to dashboarding, reporting, and data-driven decision-making using Power BI

Qualifications

  • CA, CPA, CMA/CWA
  • 14–18 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or finance transformation role.
  • Strong people management and leadership experience.
