Position:   Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer  Exp - 5- 7 Yrs Location:  Gurugram About the Role: We are seeking an experienced  Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer  with  5–7 years  of industry experience to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . You will work closely with cross-functional teams—developers, DevOps, and security—to support modern cloud-native applications and infrastructure automation. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Implement  Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)  using  Terraform  or  Deployment Manager . Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. Build and maintain  CI/CD pipelines  using tools such as  Jenkins ,  GitLab CI/CD , or  Google Cloud Build . Collaborate with application teams to  containerize applications  using  Docker  and manage them through  Kubernetes / GKE . Configure and maintain networking components:  VPCs, subnets, load balancers, VPNs, Cloud Interconnect, and peering . Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and cost optimization using tools like  Stackdriver / Google Cloud Monitoring / Logging / Cloud Trace . Ensure adherence to cloud  security best practices , including IAM policies, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance standards. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and cloud-related issues. Participate in  on-call rotation  and  incident response  as required. Technical Skills & Experience: 5–7 years  of experience as a  Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps / SRE Engineer . Strong hands-on experience with  GCP services : Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL / BigQuery. Proficiency in  Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)  tools —  Terraform (preferred) , Google Deployment Manager. Experience with  CI/CD tools  such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or Google Cloud Build. Strong knowledge of  containers and orchestration  (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE). Solid understanding of  networking concepts : VPC, firewall rules, routing, load balancing. Scripting and automation using  Python, Bash, or Go . Experience with  monitoring and alerting tools  (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). Familiarity with  cloud security best practices . Good to Have: GCP Professional Cloud Architect  or  Professional DevOps Engineer  certification. Exposure to  other cloud platforms  (AWS / Azure). Experience with  Serverless architecture  (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions). Knowledge of  service mesh (Istio)  and  API gateways . Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
