Key Responsibilities

Setup and manage GCP resources (VMs, buckets, VPCs, IAM)Automate provisioning using Terraform or Deployment ManagerManage cloud monitoring, alerting, and logging (Stackdriver)Implement GCP backup, patching, and lifecycle managementReview and optimize billing and cost usageConfiguring monitoring and alerting through terraform, creation of monitoringdashboardsHA setup and DR setup implementation.Will work on defect fixes during UAT across workstreams.Documentation of implementation steps/processes and How to articlesSkills

Expertise in working with Terraform

Proficient with gcloud CLI, Terraform, Bash scripting.

Google Professional Cloud Engineer certification preferred.

Familiarity with GCP security, audit logging, firewall rules.

Understanding of hybrid connectivity (Cloud VPN, Interconnect)

Understanding of networking concepts like IP segments, DNSPython, Powershell scripting skills

Required Qualifications

5+ Years managing and administering Cloud-based infrastructure

Hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform

Experience of designing and managing a growing high availability environment supporting distributed or microservices applications.

Experience of cloud cost controls and automation strategies

Experience of Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring and ObservabilityExperience with IaC concepts, particularly with TerraForm

Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies

Strong communication skills
