Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Game Programmer Intern (Unreal Engine/Unity) at Akiyam Solutions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in coding, debugging, and optimizing game mechanics, as well as contributing to the development of immersive and interactive gameplay elements. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with designers and artists, creating and implementing scripts in Unity or Unreal Engine, and working on challenging projects to enhance gameplay and user experience. Qualifications Proficiency in Game Programming and overall Game Development Strong foundation in Computer Science and Programming Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles Hands-on experience or knowledge in Unity and/or Unreal Engine Familiarity with scripting languages such as C++, C#, or similar Problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging interactive experiences Bachelor?s or ongoing education in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field preferred
