In this we provide different financial instruments for the importer and exporter to mitigate the risk involved in International Trade. Some of the products, but not limited to these are "Letter of Credit", "Bank Guarantees", "Supply Chain Financing (Payables and Receivables)" etc. BNP Paribas is one of the top international transactional banking provider. Functional Tester Date 29/09/2025 Department GBIT- Trade - Quantexa Location: Mumbai Business Line / Function GBIT- Trade - Quantexa Reports To (Direct) Team Manager Grade (if applicable) (Functional) Number Of Direct Reports 1 Directorship / Registration NA Position Purpose The Functional Tester is responsible for conducting requirement-gathering sessions, identifying, and designing test plans, writing detailed test cases by analyzing specific business processes and user requirements, testing deliverables and workarounds to meet client objectives. Day to Day activities include ? Coordinating with BA/Developers to understand the requirement. Checking the impact of the changes in business. Understanding testing principles and practices Ability to plan, design and execute test cases. Ability to write and understand Test Plan documents to be aligned with the governance. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Understanding testing principles and practices Ability to plan, design, review and execute test cases and test plan Ability to understand JIRA workflow. Ability to run SQL statement to check data for application. Contributing Responsibilities Team player. Effectively communicating the work status and delivery status. Adhere to timelines set for the delivery. Technical & Behavioral Competencies Experience in Banking / Finance space, especially Global Banking (Payments, Credits, Trade). AML in Trade finance [ Letter of Creditis , collections etc.] Good Communications Skills with good client facing skills. Understanding of Software Development/Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC). Understanding of Agile methodology. Knowledge of SQL and working in Microsoft Excel. Having good SQL knowledge for creating dashboards in JIRA Knowledge of Automation is nice to have.
