About The Role We?re looking for a Senior Software Engineer I with 5+ years of experience to design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions that prioritize human-centered design, security, and performance. You?ll architect systems for future growth, mentor engineers, and guide your team through Agile practices to deliver meaningful value to users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, leads with empathy, and is passionate about building secure, maintainable, and intuitive systems that align with business goals. Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture Build full-stack applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, and .NET Architect scalable systems using well-accepted design patterns Anticipate future use cases and design for flexibility and growth Cloud & Infrastructure Operate within Azure and AWS environments Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions Optimize developer experience using monorepos, Docker, and platform engineering practices Quality, Testing & Observability Write comprehensive unit and integration tests aligned with the testing pyramid Use observability data to drive performance and stability improvements Lead debugging efforts across services and domains Security Apply OWASP Top 10 principles and lead security-first development practices Refine team security strategies and mentor others in secure coding Agile Delivery & Leadership Break down epics and projects for incremental delivery Manage dependencies and prioritize work in alignment with strategic goals Facilitate retrospectives and drive continuous improvement Human-Centered Design Advocate for end-user needs and accessibility throughout the development lifecycle Lead design reviews and experimentation efforts to validate ideas Mentor the team in ethical, inclusive, and privacy-conscious engineering Strategic Collaboration Align engineering efforts with business and product strategy Build strong relationships with teammates, stakeholders, and clients Contribute to cross-team strategic initiatives and product innovation Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering Proven expertise in full-stack development and system architecture Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and human-centered design Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers Familiarity with observability tools and performance monitoring Passion for ethical, secure, and user-focused software development Preferred Attributes Experience leading cross-functional teams and strategic projects Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Curiosity about how technical work creates business and human value At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.?We offer flexibility in your schedule, empowering you to balance life?s demands, while also maintaining your ability to serve clients.?Learn more about our total rewards at https://rsmus.com/careers/india.html.
