About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team in Kolkata. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications end-to-end — from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications across the front end and back end
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Work closely with the team in daily stand-ups and sprint planning (Agile/Scrum)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Solid experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel)
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Good to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Docker/containerization
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Prior experience in a product-based company or startup environment

Work Location:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
