Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Laravel (PHP), Node.js, and real-time communication using WebSockets.

You will be responsible for backend architecture, real-time systems, API development, performance optimization, and mentoring, while working closely with frontend, mobile, DevOps, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and real-time services using Java (Spring Boot), Laravel, and Node.js
• Develop and manage real-time communication using WebSockets (notifications, live updates, dashboards, etc.)
• Architect backend solutions for low latency, concurrency, and scalability
• Optimize applications for performance, memory, and database efficiency
• Design and maintain database schemas, queries, and transactions
• Ensure application security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Integrate backend systems with frontend, mobile applications, and third-party services
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling for production systems
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain high code quality
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Work with DevOps teams on deployment, scaling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and performance issues

Required Technical Skills

• 8–10 years of backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Java & Spring Boot
• Laravel (PHP)
• Node.js

Proven experience with:

WebSockets & real-time communication (Socket.IO, native WebSocket's, STOMP, etc.)

• Designing systems with concurrent connections and low latency
• Strong understanding of:
• REST APIs & Microservices architecture
• Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns
• Database expertise:

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (or similar)

• Security knowledge:
• JWT, OAuth, role-based access control
• Experience with:
• Git / Version Control
• Linux environments
• Exposure to:
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Pub/Sub) – preferred
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – a plus
