Placement Type: Full Time Contract for 6 Months(40 hrs a week/160 hrs a month)

Lyzr is Looking for:

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise and solid frontend capabilities. The ideal candidate enjoys owning features end-to-end, working with large-scale textual data, and experimenting with GenAI-driven use cases. You’ll collaborate closely with product, AI, and DevOps teams to build scalable, modern applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Write efficient, asynchronous code using Async/Await
• Work extensively with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, especially for handling large volumes of textual data
• Design schemas, write optimised queries and implement PL/pgSQL stored procedures in PostgreSQL
• Build responsive and performant frontend applications using React, TypeScript and modern state management
• Collaborate on system design, API contracts, and data flow across services
• Deploy, monitor and maintain services with a high level of ownership
• Experiment with and integrate GenAI capabilities into real-world applications
  
  
  

Required Skills

Backend (Strong)

• Proficient in Python
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Strong understanding of Async/Await and asynchronous programming
• Deep working knowledge of MongoDB
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL
• Query optimisation
• Handling large-scale textual data
• PL/pgSQL and stored procedures
  
  
  

Frontend

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• TypeScript (mandatory)
• Experience with React
• State management using Redux Toolkit (RTK)
• Styling with Tailwind CSS
  
  
  

DevOps (Optional But Preferred – Ownership Mindset)

• Experience with Docker
  
  
  

Familiarity with AWS services:

• S3, EC2, ECS, ECR
• Load Balancers
• EventBridge
• Basic understanding of networking concepts:
• VPCs, Subnets
• Public vs Private networks
  
  
  

GenAI Experience

• Ability to effectively use GenAI Studio features such as:
• Knowledge Bases (KB)
• Agents
• Tool Calls
• Hands-on experience working with raw LLM APIs (e.g., Claude)
• Comfortable being evaluated via a practical assignment if required
  
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience building AI-powered chat or assistant use cases
• Understanding of hybrid search techniques
• Experience using pgvector or vector databases
• Exposure to semantic search, embeddings, or RAG-based systems
