A well-established broker-dealer, founded by many of the engineers behind Barclays’ credit trading platform, is investing heavily in modernising and electronifying its trading infrastructure following the acquisition of a leading trading technology business.

The team operates with significant autonomy in a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment where engineers have real ownership and impact.

They’re looking for modern software engineers who enjoy building scalable systems, automating workflows, and using AI tools like Claude/Cursor to improve development speed and efficiency. This is a largely greenfield opportunity to help redesign and rebuild core parts of the platform as the business continues its transition toward a more electronic and automated trading operation.

What You’ll Do

● Develop and enhance core components of the trading platform, including market gateways and data feed handlers

● Contribute to the design and development of trading logic and execution systems

● Support and improve the production trading environment, ensuring reliability and performance

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years experience in Full Stack Engineering
• Degree in Computer Science or other related field
• Professional Experience in Python, Java or Kotlin.
• You enjoy using Claude/Cursor to make things more efficient
