Full Stack Engineer

Full stack developer (React.js & Node.js)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated full stack developer with 2–5 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building scalable, maintainable web applications from the ground up.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, while crafting sleek, responsive user interfaces with React.js and Tailwind CSS.

Key responsibilities

Backend development: Design and implement server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

Frontend development: Build highly interactive and performant web interfaces using React.js and hooks-based component architecture. 

Styling & UI: Leverage Tailwind CSS to ensure consistent, responsive, and modern UI designs.

Database management: Architect and maintain efficient data schemas in MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines and indexing strategies.

Architecture: Implement clean, scalable code architecture. Experience with class-based development and object-oriented programming is a significant advantage in maintaining our codebase.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Technical requirements

Years of experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js and Express.js.

Language: Strong proficiency in TypeScript is a must.

Frontend framework: Hands-on experience with React.js (React 18+ preferred), including functional components, hooks, and component lifecycle management. 

CSS framework: Professional experience using Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.

Database: Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines and indexing. Familiarity with Mongoose ODM is preferred.

Runtime & tooling: Proficiency with Node.js ecosystem — npm/yarn, environment configuration, and RESTful API design patterns using Express.js. 

Software design: Familiarity with design patterns and a preference for class-based development to ensure code reusability and structure.

Desired skills & qualities

Experience with React state management — Redux Toolkit or Zustand preferred. 

Familiarity with React Router for client-side routing. 

Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
