Architect and build a scalable, event-driven, AI-enabled full-stack platform with strong ownership across backend, frontend, and system design.

Location: Gurugram

Work Mode: WFO

10+ years' experience in enterprise application development.

Strong in:

  • Java + Spring Boot
  • Event-driven architecture (NATS or similar)
  • Angular
  • Experience with:
  • Microservices
  • SQL / Hibernate
  • SPA development (3+ years)


Core Responsibilities

1. Design Event-Driven Systems

  • Build systems using events (NATS), not just REST APIs
  • Define event structure, naming, and flow
  • Ensure:
  • Idempotency (safe reprocessing)
  • Failure handling and retries
  • Loose coupling between services


2. Build Scalable Backend (Spring Boot)

  • Develop microservices with clear boundaries
  • Use:
  • REST APIs (for UI)
  • Events (for async workflows)
  • Ensure:
  • Performance
  • Security
  • Maintainability


3. Integrate AI Agents (Python Services)

  • Treat AI as a separate service layer, not embedded logic
  • Handle:
  • Async execution via events
  • Timeouts, retries, fallbacks
  • Inconsistent/non-deterministic outputs
  • Work with platforms like:
  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Amazon Bedrock


4. Build Modern Frontend (Angular)

  • Develop SPA with Angular
  • Show real-time workflow status
  • Focus on:
  • Performance
  • Clean component design
  • Async data handling


5. Identity & Security (SSO)

  • Implement and integrate:
  • SAML
  • OAuth2 / OIDC
  • CAS
  • Ensure secure token flow across services.


6. Data & System Design

  • Use PostgreSQL / SQL properly
  • Avoid tight DB coupling across services
  • Maintain auditability and data consistency


7. DevOps & Reliability

  • Work in Linux environments
  • Use Git, Maven
  • Build systems that are:
  • Observable (logs, metrics)
  • Resilient (failures handled gracefully)
