About the Role

We're looking for a Backend-Leaning Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems while contributing to frontend development when needed. You'll work on high-impact products, designing APIs, building reliable services, and solving engineering challenges alongside a collaborative team.

What You'll Be Working On

• Building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Designing and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations.
• Creating efficient MongoDB data models that scale with the product.
• Contributing to frontend development using React.js and Next.js.
• Participating in system design discussions and making thoughtful technical decisions.
• Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Monitoring applications using Grafana and Graphite to ensure reliability.
• Collaborating with engineers through code reviews and technical discussions to deliver high-quality software.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
• Solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Working knowledge of React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of system design, microservices, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Someone who takes ownership, values clean code, and enjoys collaborating with others.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be highly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, TanStack Query, or Next.js.
• Exposure to Kafka, event-driven architecture, or message queues.
• Experience building products or platforms from the ground up.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
