Full Stack Engineer

THIS IS A 5-MONTH CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS. We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Autodesk User Management & Access team for a high-impact modernization project. In this role, you will migrate legacy systems to Spring Boot microservices and AWS Cloud , enhancing code quality, resilience, and performance for critical applications used globally. Primary Skills Java , Spring Boot , JavaScript AWS Cloud Services (EC2, RDS, S3, Elasticsearch) Microservices Development & REST API Design CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Docker) Secondary Skills Legacy JavaScript Frameworks ? Backbone.js , Marionette.js , jQuery Security Concepts and Vulnerability Management Monitoring, Logging & Alerting Tools Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices Preferred Qualifications 5?7 years of total software development experience, with 4+ years in Fullstack Java/Spring Boot projects. Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot microservices and modern Java versions (Java 8+). Experience migrating legacy Java applications to Spring Boot. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and legacy frameworks (Backbone, Marionette, jQuery). Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services. Practical experience with CI/CD , build automation , and deployment pipelines. Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Responsibilities Migrate legacy UI systems to modern microservice architecture using Spring Boot and AWS. Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. Upgrade legacy Java codebases while maintaining code quality and performance standards . Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. Enhance monitoring and observability through improved logging, metrics, and alerting . Collaborate with Product, Security, and Operations teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both production and development environments. Follow Agile principles and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies .
