Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with 5 years of hands‑on experience in modern application development. You will be a key contributor within our Application Modernization practice, working across both front‑end and back‑end technologies to build scalable, secure, and high‑performing applications. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences and modernize existing systems using contemporary frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modernize, and maintain robust front‑end and back‑end components for web applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces using modern front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient server‑side logic using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs to enable communication between application components and external services.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application reliability and quality.
• Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and trends in full‑stack and cloud‑native development.
• Contribute to modernization efforts including re‑architecting, refactoring, and re‑hosting legacy applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack application development.
• Strong proficiency in front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Solid experience with server‑side programming using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Practical knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies.
• Exposure to application modernization strategies, including re‑architecting, refactoring, and cloud‑native transformation.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native services such as messaging systems, distributed caching, and modern databases like Elasticsearch or Neo4j.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices, including writing unit tests using tools like JUnit or similar frameworks.
• Experience integrating applications with cloud services and third‑party REST APIs.
